Matt Wolfe is a New York City-based guitarist who keeps a busy schedule playing in clubs, theaters, recording sessions, and festivals. A versatile performer, he has played at 54 Below, the Highline Ballroom, Blues Alley, and the Kennedy Center, and alongside such Broadway luminaries as Debbie Gravitte and Brent Barrett.
Growing up in a family of musicians, Matt began playing violin at the age of 8. He later discovered his true love – the guitar – at age 13, and began performing professionally only two years later. After finishing his studies at Shenandoah Conservatory, he spent several years traveling the world honing his skills playing jazz, rock, and pop, before moving to New York where he quickly found work as a bandleader, solo guitarist, and sideman.
Matt is the co-leader of Matt & Lainie, and performs regularly as a featured entertainer on Viking Cruises, Holland America, and Princess Cruises.
