Matt Wolfe is a New York City-based guitarist who keeps a busy schedule playing in clubs, theaters, recording sessions, and festivals. A versatile performer, he has played at 54 Below, the Highline Ballroom, Blues Alley, and the Kennedy Center, and alongside such Broadway luminaries as Debbie Gravitte and Brent Barrett. He has studied with some of the best guitarists in the world including Rick Whitehead, Jason Vieaux, and Peter Bernstein.

Growing up in a family of musicians, Matt began playing violin at the age of 8. He later discovered his true love – the guitar – at age 13, and began performing professionally only two years later. After finishing his conservatory studies, he spent several years traveling the world honing his skills playing jazz, rock, and R&B, before moving to New York where he quickly found work as a bandleader, solo guitarist, and sideman.

Matt is also the co-leader of Matt & Lainie, and performs regularly as a featured entertainer on Viking Cruises, Holland America, and Princess Cruises.

He is currently on tour with Pretty Woman: The Musical.

His first album Wolfe Brothers: Duets, Vol. 1 with Tim Wolfe, Jr. was released in 2018.
